Using 2mm FCS certified Hoop Pine ply from the Sunshine Coast, the original Busy Head bottlebrush illustration is printed and laser cut in Murarrie then mounted with stainless steel hoops in my home studio in Bardon. These Australian earrings are not only locally and sustainably made but they're lightweight and durable. The flower and leaf charms swing independent of each other and have lovely movement.

How Custom Pet Portraits work
1. Decide whether you'd like single pet portrait earrings (the same pet on each ear) or a two-pet pair (different pet on each ear). Select the appropriate item in the drop-down bar above and proceed to checkout.
2. Upon buying your custom pet portrait earrings please send at least five photographs of your beloved companion to hello@busyhead.com.au that includes your name and order number. If there is a particular physical characteristic of your pet, or a favourite bandana or collar that you'd like featured in the portrait, please include a note in the email and try to capture it in the photographs that you send through. I'll do my best to include it. All earrings are completed in the Busy Head style of illustration as a full body profile view of the pet- for deviations from this style please discuss before purchasing.
3. The designs are all hand-drawn and digitally rendered. They are then UV printed on FSC certified hoop pine and laser cut. The findings are stainless steel and nickel-free.
Once appropriate images have been received please allow 3 weeks for the illustration, handcrafting and postage of your one-of-a-kind creations. The finished size of the charms is between 4cm and 5cm H.
